Hybrid Interim Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner Your new companyYour new organisation is one of the largest housing associations in Wales, providing over 10,000 homes and a range of services to customers, their families, and communities. With a turnover of £60 million and a dedicated staff of approximately 420 employees, the organisation is committed to delivering high-quality housing solutions and community support.Your new roleYou will be responsible for:

• Working with the Head of Finance to produce accurate management accounts
• Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Conducting reconciliations of journals and ensuring data integrity
• Utilising your VAT experience, particularly in partial exemption, to handle related financial tasks
• Liaising with budget holders and providing management reports on variations
• Collaborating with stakeholders to establish performance finance metrics
• Presenting and reporting findings to stakeholders

What you’ll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you should have:

• A qualification in accountancy
• Solid background in management accounting and finance
• Experience in process improvement and working with budget holders
• Proficiency in conducting reconciliations and handling VAT, including partial exemption
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across the organisation
• Ability to set up performance finance metrics and confidently report and present findings
