We have a new opportunity within the SAP Applications Team for an IT Analyst- EDI and Testing Support to join our growing IT Department as we support the growth plan within Booker.

The role will support our sales and trading teams to onboard new customers and suppliers wanting to integrate with Booker systems through traditional EDI or an equivalent digital alternative. In addition, as part of this role, the colleague will also support other members of the SAP Applications Team in areas such as unit and acceptance testing, data readiness and super-user training.

This role can be based in either Eccles or Wellingborough

Day to day management of EDI enquiries, onboarding, processing of orders, invoices, EDN’s and support issues

Identify EDI system requirements and work proactively with colleagues, customers and suppliers to manage through to implementation

Working alongside 3 rd parties (e.g., IT Service Desk) and internal colleagues to manage incidents being assigned to the SAP team

Support unit and acceptance testing, data readiness and super-user training within the wider SAP Applications Team workload

Experience in EDI on boarding and processing of orders, invoices and EDNs

SAP experience is beneficial but not essential

Solid eye for detail

Systems testing experience is desirable

Experience in writing system requirements would be beneficial
