We have partnered up with a leading financial services company to assist in their search for an IT Service Manager working on one of their biggest IT Suppliers. You will be required to manage the relationship between our client and their supplier.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll manage the governance and oversight of the contract ensuring that their service is complying to the contract agreements in place.
Working independently, you’ll be responsible for managing a run service and over viewing IT change delivery with one of our primary outsourced service provider’s technology provision. Additionally, you’ll get to manage several smaller contracts end to end, actively seeking opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to enhance process. You’ll be working with a range of stakeholders in Operations, IT and the wider business to support good customer outcomes.
You’ll get a range of support from peer colleagues, working together in a robust governance framework. Understanding and assuring clear accountabilities will be key from Day 1, enabling you to deliver effective oversight of a range of outsourced service providers.
Experience needed:
Experience in IT supplier management to ITIL 3/4 standards.
Excellent relationship management skills to drive the right outcomes and value from major IT supplier partnerships.
Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with key partners and collaborators, managing stakeholders at all levels.
Skilled at understanding technical and business information and communicating it appropriately to a non-technical audience.
Problem/dispute management skills to ensure any obstacles to performance are resolved.
