Junior Production Planner Location: Par Harbour, Cornwall, PL24 2BP Salary: £24,305 Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8pm 4pm Working within our Central Planning Team as Junior Production Planner you ll have the opportunity to learn and develop in this role, working towards Production Planner status. You ll be supported and mentored by other Production Planners through peer learning and appropriate formal training where necessary. You ll gain experience across a variety of production planning tasks including consolidating and analysing demand and providing demand estimates, preparing daily production plans and planning and coordinating procurement of minerals and materials. Activities also include: Checking demand levels vs capacity using SAP and other market data Coordinating with the logistics team on planned inventory availability Assisting in ensuring that stock targets are achieved Coordinating with product management on production priorities Liaising with suppliers for purchased minerals to agree on demand/check their capacity Extending SAP functionality to encompass Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Maintaining spreadsheet data which is live data and visible to others Your skills and experience: Previous experience in scheduling and planning Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good understanding of Excel / Google Although based at our Par European Milling Centre you ll also visit some of our other plants in Devon and Cornwall at least once a week and therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
