My Crawley based IT consultancy client is looking for a lead Java developer to identify and implement performance improvements, code optimisation’s, and automation solutions, while leading a small team of developers.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Leading a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.
Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Identify and implement performance improvements, code optimisation’s, and automation solutions.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, time-lines, and deliverables.

To be considered for this Lead Java Developer role with my Crawley based client, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
Essential Attributes:
Active SC (security Clearance)
Experience of being a team lead or senior developer looking to lead their first team
Ability to commute to the office based in Crawley, once in a while
Amazing communication skills
Experience building Java based applications

Job Offer
Receive up to £550per day Inside IR35 on an initial 6 month contract, with the high possibility of an extension and ability to lead a brand new team of developers, while working hybrid.
