Lead Night Support Worker Andover, West Hampshire Permanent, Part time (15.75 hpw) Pay £11.51 per hour (£22,500 pa pro rata), + £50 per sleep in and great benefits including health cash plan! This role is all about covering our anti-social hours, sleeping in, then heading off at 10am to enjoy the rest of your day! And as it s only a Wednesday and Saturday overnight each week the rest of the week is yours! As our Lead Support Worker, you ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You ll be there in the evening to provide support around evening routines and then overnight in case there s an emergency. You ll make a big difference as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know! Typical shift as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Creating support plans with your customers. Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too. Sleep in shift to be the first point of call if there s an emergency. Our team You ll join Sarah, our manager, who describes herself as a cat lady, with two of her own Oscar and Charlie. You ll also join Jo who also has cats, but don t panic we welcome anyone without pets too! Job details Our service is open 24hrs and you ll work the evening from 5pm till 10pm, cover the sleep in and finish with either a couple of hours or the following morning shift on a two-week rolling rota. Just Wednesday to Thursday morning and Saturday to Sunday morning, so the rest of the week is yours! You re able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues. You ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
