The Business area:
Embark joined LBG in January 2022 with its mission to deliver a market leading, modern and self-managed investment offering that can be offered to LBG customers. The first direct to customer investment product was launched late Feb 2023 and is the first of an exciting roadmap of new products and existing product feature enhancements. Embark will also enable LBG to reinvigorate and enhance our intermediary proposition under Scottish Widows and grow this sector alongside the existing Embark white label propositions. Through investment in modern digital technology we will improve advisor experience and make it easier for them to do business with us.
About the role:
We’re looking to recruit a Lead Quality Engineer to play a key role in developing and building our capability in Quality Engineering, focussing mainly on the non-functional side of testing but able to partner with the functional test manager and cover for each other as a leadership team. As well as leading Quality Engineering delivery across projects, programmes & agile methodology, you ll also lead our Non-Functional team / suppliers.
We re looking for someone with a strong desire, and the capability, to deliver a highly effective service for Embark and adopt/achieve shared goals. We believe that people don’t fit neatly into roles, and we value everyone’s individual skills, experience, and knowledge – it’s what makes you great!

Location: Whilst advertised as Edinburgh based, this role can be flexible to include Leeds, Halifax, Bristol and London
