MKC Training offers a unique opportunity for a Lecturer Mechanical Engineering at a prestigious training facility in Chatham, Kent. £44,800 + excellent benefits, continuous professional development and career prospects. 37 hours per week (8-4.30), permanent.
MKC Training, is an expert in the design and delivery of innovative teaching, learning, assessment and training design for the defence construction and engineering sectors. They have a long and very successful partnership contract based at the Royal School of Military Engineering, Brompton Barracks.
As the Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, you will be joining a team of diverse higher education professionals in the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The team works with the military to train professionally qualified engineers to enable UK military to live, work and move, by designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure and accommodation on bases and on operations around the world. The Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering will provide subject expertise within a small multidisciplinary teaching team with a focus on mechanical engineering to enhance current teaching delivery, reflecting current, state of the art and emerging engineering practices. Expertise in design, installation and management of built M&E services is preferred. Teaching delivery and assessment will cover modules on both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
