Lesson Cover (Cover Supervisor/HLTA/Lesson Supervisor) – East Bradford – Immediate Start Veritas Education is recruiting a lesson cover teacher for a secondary school in the East Bradford area. The ideal candidate will work on daily/weekly basis, with the potential to lead to a full-time position. The school is keen to work with staff who maintain high standards and are proactive in the classroom. Requirements: A strong and confident communicator Comfortable delivering pre planned lessons for up to 30 students Able to manage behaviour effectively in the classroom Previous experience teaching or coaching large groups Enhanced DBS which is on the update service (can be applied for through Veritas Education)The Role: Deliver pre planned lessons to whole classes Manage behaviour in the classroom and identify and safeguarding issues promptly and correctly Supervise students in the classroom, providing any extra help to those who may need it Lesson covering (cover supervisor/ HLTA) is perfect for anyone looking to gain experience in the classroom and wanting to develop their teaching career – it looks great on your CV when applying for a PGCE.
