A large retailer based in Manchester. They are looking to grow their finance team by recruiting a Management Accountant. The business is a market leader and is highly profitable with a high performing finance team.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Weekly reporting to strict deadlines.
• Assist with half year reporting & year-end reporting and audit work.
• Preparation and set up of internal reports and analysis.
• Adhering to financial controls and Implement process improvements.
• Complete quarterly VAT returns
• Significant amount of ad hoc tasks

Profile

The client is looking for a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant to join their growing finance team in the North West. The role is a Management Accountant position working closely with the Reporting Manager and the Financial Controller.

This role offers exposure to multiple areas of finance and the ability to learn via osmosis whilst working closely with the senior members of the team. The successful candidate will keen to work in a fast paced working environment and to learn and develop their skillset.

Job Offer

The client is looking to offer circa 45,000 and has hyrbid working and a discretionary bonus scheme in place.
