Our excellent utilities client based in Warwick have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Management Accountant with specific experience in Stakeholder Management and can manage costs to join them for an initial 12 – 18 months contract.
Location: Warwick/Hybrid 2 days a week in office
Rate: Dependant On Experience
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Project Management accounting experience.
Possess experience of reporting financial information.
Ability to influence and work as part of a virtual team.
Proven experience of planning, forecasting and budgeting across a variety of large-scale projects.
Effective stakeholder management
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the DD&T Programme Teams to ensure that monthly project forecasts are thorough, comprehensive and include updates to costs. Run project surgeries and challenge the forecasts.
Responsible for preparation and submission of expenditure into company systems with auditable supporting information. Monitor SAP to ensure finances are correct and that information is provided in accordance with the month end accounting timetable.
Pro-actively implement and incorporate accurate risk and opportunity schedules to enable appropriate decision making
Input DD&T FSO financial information to the FSO finance workstream and provide adhoc analysis as required
Support development of the story compared to regulatory submissions provided under the ESOs framework.
Provide a review of performance to Senior Management and project teams, variance analysis and critical evaluation to drive improved project performance.
Be recognised as a critical trusted partner for the FSO programme project managers, utilising your financial expertise and project knowledge to provide support to the business.
Support the DD&T FSO programme lead in interpreting and understanding the overall FSO DDT portfolio
