Mechanical & Electrical Workshop Engineer

Permanent – Fulltime

Salary – Up to £16.50ph

An exciting opportunity to join an established engineering company has risen.Are you a skilled workshop engineer, looking to join a modern company providing a high-quality service to its customers?

The role:

• Provide knowledge and information to operational teams and customers.
• Report issues, defects, and Non-conformities to the Workshop Manager and via the Operating Processes.
• Diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.
• Undertake all M&E maintenance tasks on customer assets allocated to an agreed standard.
• Order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• Carry-out reverse or repair work to suit customer’s urgency.
• Ensure work is carried out in compliance with all health and safety requirements and to adhere to the best working practices.
• Actively take part in risk assessment, and all related Health and Safety issues.

The Person:

• Experienced in this specific discipline.
• BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• A valid UK driving licence.
