JOB SUMMARY:

Mechanic Technician I – III

Role based in Aberdeen and supporting the equipment rebuild and installation team

• Under general supervision, maintains, inspects, diagnoses, and repairs Halliburton cementing equipment as per Halliburton procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts.
• Performs factory acceptance testing of equipment.
• Third party personnel supervision may be required on some assignments.
• Requires understanding hydraulic and pneumatic circuits/drawings/prints.
• Requires, workshop/yard, offshore and shipyard / quayside work.
• Occasional international travel may be required.

Education and Experience

• Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Technical School certificate and at least 3 years’ experience in related fields or equivalent experience.

Role Specific Knowledge

• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Good reading and writing skills
• Ability to operate and function test industrial equipment.
