Our ethos is Safety, Service, People this is known as the EJ way and is practised throughout the group Currently we have a new Job opportunity for a Mechanical Draughtsperson based in Stirchley (Sth Birmingham) to join our ever busy and expanding team on a permanent basis The primary purpose of this role is to design using available drawing packages client or company requirements. Examples of designs can be Plant rooms, pipework, vessels, platforms and supports Predict risks and problems relating to site conditions or design limitations and liaise with in house project teams resolve those issues. The design process starts from the point of initial enquiry through the draft and scoping phases through to receipt of client s order and subsequent detailed designs. The role will require the designer to develop and maintain long term relationships with the customer based on trust, predictability, accountability, and mutual respect. We value everyone s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who: Strong historical experience draughting drawings of plantrooms or building services Experience within designing pipework/building services would be useful Experience of using Autocad and/or Inventor Degree in a mechanical engineering or equivalent gained from experience. Evidence of achieving customer satisfaction Demonstrates an advanced ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook as well as electronic project management tools. Understanding of process systems.
