Mechanical Test Engineer

We are supporting our client in their search for a Test Engineer who will come into the business with either a mechanical or electrical engineering brain and who will learn the test and calibration process of fire safety products. You will need good mathematical skills and have gained an engineering qualification at some point. The position requires a willingness to learn about fire safety and you will have a sharp eye for detail.

Duties Include

• Routine testing, calibration and monitoring of equipment
• Analysis and interpretation of testing result data
• Compilation of reports for management

Competencies

• Experience of working within a testing capacity
• Excellent mathematical and numeracy skills
• IT proficient with strong Excel Skills
• Degree Educated or experience within an Engineering environment or role.
• Strong communicator, written and verbal with excellent attention to detail

Hours

Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30
