Long Road is a thriving, successful post 16 Sixth Form College 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful, thriving and expanding Bio/Technical city of Cambridge. The college is now seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic MIS Officer to support the MIS department. Reporting to the Head of MIS, this role will maintain and develop the reporting structure for providing information to College management and staff, in particular ensuring that reports available are accurate and up-to-date, as well as undertaking development work related to Management Information Systems – including the development of applications specific to the College’s needs.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a role related to data management and a record of successfully working within a team. You will have excellent IT, numeracy, literacy and data presentation skills, and a capacity to initiate developments and see them through to completion.
