Mobile Plant Engineer – Volvo Construction Equipment

SMT Volvo have an exciting opportunity for an experienced heavy plant or construction equipment Field Service Engineer, Mechanic, or Technician to join our team. Your role will be to identify and repair mechanical problems on our Volvo excavators, diggers and dumpers on our client sites with the use of your technical knowledge and the computerised diagnostic equipment. You will be field based supporting clients across Kent and surrounding areas We offer a good rate of pay plus additional benefits: regular overtime, Additional London Weighting allowance £2,150 per annum for those who qualify, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), company van, off the job annual training at our accredited training academy, private healthcare for you and your family, pension, annual bonus, full PPE and workwear as well as discounts across major retailers. A formal qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural, Construction or HGV Mechanics is essential and it goes without saying you ll need a full UK driving licence, great customer service skills and the ability to work to a high standard of competence, independently.
