CNN Create – An award-winning CNN s in-house brand studio, seeking a Motion Graphics Designer based in London who has exceptional expertise in Illustration, design and animation. The ideal candidate will report to the Head of Design & Animation and work closely with our digital, production and operations teams to deliver illustration, infographics and animation for linear and digital campaigns across CNN platforms for CNN s client.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be a part of the core team in the initial stages of a creative brief and offer
• innovative and distinctive motion-gfx visual solutions that align with the project s strategic objectives, budgetary constraints and timeline requirements.
• Work closely with Head of Design to design and illustrate style frames, storyboards for animated films, and integrated graphics for live-action branded films.
• Deliver animatics and pre-visualization for proof of concept as well as animation.
• Experience and confidence presenting complex visual concepts, design and animation to internal sales teams and clients.

Selection Criteria:

• 5+ Years experience in a media brand studio, creative agency or equivalent
• Diligent in keeping up-to-date directions and trends in user design to better understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
• Ability to work with confidential information with complete discretion
• Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player in a small team environment
• A collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English

Software/Technical Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge and command of hand-drawn illustration
• Excellent knowledge and skill of Design Softwares like Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent knowledge AfterEffects as 2D Animator
• Excellent understanding of Social platforms.
• Moderate knowledge of Cinema4D
• Moderate knowledge of web animation such as Lottie
• Moderate knowledge of PowerPoint.
