Prospero Health and Social Care are recruiting for Children’s Night Support Workers. We are working with a Good rated children’s home who are looking for home seeking Children’s Night Support Workers to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Foster a respectful culture and ethos within the home, prioritising the needs of young people and encouraging their personal growth and development.
Complete a comprehensive induction and training program.
Provide a safe, warm, and stable environment for young people with learning disabilities (LD), those within the Autistic Spectrum, and individuals diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Manage challenging behaviors.
Support individualized care plans.
Maintain a safe and caring environment.
Keep documentation and records up to date.
Stay informed about relevant legislation and policies.
Promote education and daily living skills.
Undertake key-worker responsibilities.
Requirements:
Experience working with children and young people.
Experience supporting people with additional needs.
Previous experience in the care sector.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or above preferred but not essential.
If Level 3 qualification is not held, willingness to complete it within 18 months
Availability to work weekends as this role involves shift work.
