Job Description: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in WF10 (Pontefract, Wakefield). As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in their early years, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for their development.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children in the early years.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
• Observe and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining effective communication.
• Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children through play and structured activities.
• Support children in their personal care routines, ensuring their well-being and health.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive and supportive early years setting.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and understanding of child development principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
• Creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt activities to meet the individual needs of children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
