Part Qualified Accountant

As part of continued expansion they are seeking a dedicated and driven Part-Qualified Accountant to join the finance team and support the Financial Director in maintaining our financial stability and growth.

Role Overview:As a Part-Qualified Accountant you will play a vital role in the finance department by assisting the Financial Director in various accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, and assisting with year-end audits. A good level of experience in Excel is essential, as you will be required to manipulate and analyse data effectively. The company utilises Sage 200.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Director in day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare financial reports, including monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with the finance team on ad hoc projects and initiatives.
• Utilise Excel proficiently to handle large data sets and create reports.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• A strong desire to pursue a career in finance and achieve professional qualifications (CIMA or ACCA).
