Our client who are one of the most highly regarded contract caterers in London are looking for a Pastry Chef. Working between both hospitality & retail you will be responsible for the smooth running of the entire pastry section. The site has recently heavily invested into its hospitality offering, employing some incredible Chefs including a recent winner of a highly regarded award within the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that the food is to the highest quality, working closely with both the Head & Executive Chef bring new and innovative ideas to the table and training junior members of the team.
You’ll be part of a team of 8 Chefs on site, so working well as part of a team is essential. With demanding guests, last minute requests and ever changing dietaries, you will need to be creative and have the ability to think on the spot with strong organisational skills and of course be in touch with the latest food trends.
The ideal Pastry Chef should preferably come with previous experience within a high Rosette, 5-star hotel, Michelin starred restaurant or contract catering.
