PAT Tester – Taunton Average earnings of up to £30k plus company vehicle and equipmentWe don’t require our PAT engineers to be experienced, we will supply all the training you need. We will provide you with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and all the equipment that you needThis isn’t a standard 9-5 role. You may be required to work evenings and weekends at times. When we’re especially busy, we may need to put you up in a hotel so testing can be completed for our clients a little further afield. You may be testing electrical devices in difficult to reach areas and spending a lot of the day active.What we offer at phs Group

• A base salary of £21,673 with average earnings of circa up to £30,000 (base salary, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time)

A day in the life of a PAT Tester at phs;

• Traveling to customer sites to carry out PAT work.
• Completing tests on portable appliances with our customers offices and commercial offices.
• Completing documents and required forms to report back on any faults found and work completed.
• Representing phs Compliance, offering positive customer service and being the face of the company.

The ideal candidate for a PAT Tester at phs will have:

• Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
• The flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and be able to travel for work when needed.
• The ability to spend long periods of time completing manual work.
• A desire to pursue a career within an electrical engineering role.
