We have a number of exciting opportunities for Administrators to join our People Change team in Bradford. This is initially a fixed term contract until December 2023 with potential to be extended or for candidates to develop into other areas of the business.
These roles will deliver high quality and consistent Employee Services advice, support and resolution to all employees, people managers and outside parties across the end-to-end employee lifecycle spectrum.
Liberty Global Shared Service Centre (LGSSC) acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports a number of businesses across the Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.

What will you be doing?
Resolve day to day employee and line manager service enquiries, issues and complaints.
Supporting line managers and employees with generalist people support including, absence/performance management and misconduct guidance.
Supporting Managers through organisational change management particularly relating to TUPE, restructures and redundancies.
Producing redundancy calculations and other exit costs inc. settlement agreements.
Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed People/Shared Service processes are understood by employees and people team, rectifying any non-conformances and making approved amendments where vital.
Deal with and follow statutory obligations under PAYE and pensions as required.
Effectively process pay data, documentation and information and instruct payroll accordingly to ensure timely and accurate production of the payrolls.

We tend to look for people with:
Essential:
Strong administrative and customer service skills
Previous experience of or a genuine interest in HR
Strong telephone and email communication skills, capable of delivering advice guidance and handling challenging conversations over the phone at pace.
Desirable:
Minimum L3 CIPD qualification
Experience in understanding and production of redundancy calculations and other exit costs
An understanding of the HR employee lifecycle
An interest in understanding of employment law, its application and best practice.
Experience of providing relevant advice on policy and process to line managers and employees.
