Personal Lines/ Schemes Team Handler

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Lines Insurance candidate to join a well-established Insurance provided based in Newry.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Working Hours – 9am-5pm

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Job Purpose:

Manage client booking, handling renewals, new business, MTA’s, and queries in relation to Personal Lines products including Motor, Household, Legal Expenses and Travel.

Essential Criteria:

• Preferably at least 2 years Personal Lines insurance experience
• Computer literate, with a working knowledge of computerised insurance systems
• 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths. This may be waived in lieu of extensive related experience.
• Preferably experience in Open GI system, although training will be provided
• Professional qualification – CII or working towards professional qualifications (desirable)
• Interpersonal / Communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Strong trading skills
• Strong organisational skills

Overview of responsibilities:

• Secure Renewal retention for all classes of business
• Sell products to new customers
• Cross sell/Up sell products to Client Book as appropriate
• Demonstrate Excellent Customer Service
• Operate Relay system proficiently
