Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Personal Secretary/Administrative Assistant on a rate of £13.36/hour PAYE (37 hours per week). This role will be hybrid working with the occasional travel to the office in Glasgow. There may also be occasional travel to Edinburgh.
Responsibilities:
– Management of colleague’s inbox to prioritise urgent and important work (printing off emails or attachments for review, finding and/or filing documents. – Management of calendar (arranging meetings and collating papers); taking/typing minutes/actions; and providing support on the use of assistive technology (voice recognition software) to access and operate the client’s systems and compose documentation; – Provide administrative support to prepare briefings and internal and/or external communications; – Provide support to search and gather internal and external information and/or evidence to support the role (using the sources and methods instructed) – Provide support to access and use all corporate systems. This may include, but is not limited to performance management and HR related systems; – Provide any other support reasonably required, under instruction, to assist in completion of that role in particular assisting with tasks involving a computer keyboard and mouse, writing and associated administrative tasks.
