Pharmacy Technician

Blackstone Recruitment is working with a family-run chain of pharmacies, providing fast and friendly healthcare across Kent & Sussex. They are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join their branch in Kent.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you must be capable of dispensing 250 items per day. In addition, you will receive training to progress as an ACD and to perform hypertension services in the pharmacy.

Duties of the role include.

• Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
• Calculating the price of prescriptions
• Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance with the guidelines of the General Pharmaceutical Council
• Stocking the pharmacy with inventory
• Providing instructions to educate people on how to take their medicine correctly.
• Supporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy
• Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies
• Disbursing completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients.
• Answering incoming calls and fielding patient questions
• Maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules, and procedures

Position: Pharmacy Technician

Hours: This is a full-time position

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Kent

Salary: up to 24,960 DOE

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have completed a two-year accredited Pharmacy Technician course
• GPHC Registration
