These infrastructure solutions are enhanced by our complementary tunnelling and bridge design and build capabilities.Whether working on Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) schemes or construct only works, we always endeavour to share best practice and deliver progressive solutions by engaging as early as possible with our customers to maximise innovation, efficiency, and cost savings.Your new roleResponsibilities:Development and maintenance of Project schedules including the development and submission of “get to gate”Schedules and project schedules to support relevant business cases.Monthly updates to project schedules and supporting reporting processes through appropriate variance analysis. Development of baseline changes to support the CE processAs an experienced planner, you will be educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in a core business discipline and you will have extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, cost and risk analysis.What you’ll need to succeedThe person:Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in a core business disciplineHighways Experience is essentialPrior experience on large multidisciplinary Highway or Infrastructure projectsThrough understanding and experience in the use of project management softwareExtensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysisAbility to plan construction works from first principles, preferably with experience in multi discipline major projectsExtensive site experience on business related projects in a management or supervisory capacityExtensive experience of the impact that commercial events have on the baseline programmeExtensive experience of working on multi-discipline projects within Highways sectorsBid and project planning experience on construction projectsExperience in recognition and recording of any change in requirementsExperience of actively measuring and monitoring performance and the presentation of the results in a logical manner to support continuous improvementExperience in the interpretation of data and information and producing it in a clear and logical formatWhat you need to do nowIf you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn’t quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
