Your new company
Hays Technology are recruiting an experienced Platform Owner to join an expanding organisation based in the Leeds area. This role will be reporting into the Head of Technology and will be one to shape and make your own.

Your new role
As a Platform Owner, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the strategy for the provision of resilient and responsive IT platforms to meet the needs of the organisation. You will be managing the backlog and delivery of platform change utilising appropriate governance which identifies and balances across time, cost, and quality.

Within your new role, you will be selecting and managing multiple supplier relationships including performance reviews, compliance, and risk, to deliver an end-to-end IT service provision, whilst collaborating with colleagues to understand the needs of the platform. You will be identifying and managing the release calendar to define deployment windows and coordinate releases across platforms to ensure minimal disruption.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience of project management with a successful track record of delivering effective IT Solutions through all stages from procurement, implementation, and operation delivery
• ITIL v3/v4 qualification would be ideal
• The ability to develop and maintain strong partner relationships with an MSP whilst holding to account for contract performance
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to articulate complex solutions in a business context
• Management experience is ideal
• Experience around Azure, COBIT, Agile, and Workday is ideal
• Experience within Financial Services is desirable but not essential

What you’ll get in return
