Role Description To work closely with Engineering & production teams to support and improve all aspects of the manufacturing processes such as product quality, material efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities: To conduct feasibility studies to support product expansion and new business development To support production in optimisation, operational troubleshooting and project commissioning To facilitate and support the development of a culture of proactive and effective problem solving within the engineering team. To carry out project management, project engineering, cost estimation and cost control activities on appropriate projects To act as project leader role and execute specific projects/studies To specify and select new process equipment To deliver projects within capital expenditure forecasts To act as a champion within the company for business excellence, team working and ensuring that SHE and Compliance are at the heart of management decision making To be aware of new technologies and identify where to apply such technology to the benefit of the business The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of English, written, numerical and verbal skills with the ability to interpret and analyse key process data. You will have a recognised Engineering qualification and demonstrable project management experience, along with excellent knowledge of MS tools. You will have strong self-discipline and a structured approach to improvements. You will have the ability to identify and actively plan improvements and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment. An effective communicator and able to work cross functionally, meet deadlines and have good relationship building skills.
