Role: Procurement Contracts Specialist Permanent Annual Salary: £43,000 per annum Location: Port Glasgow (4 days on site, 1 day at home)Advantage Resourcing are working closely with a leading organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Contracts Specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to support all procurement contract activities in conjunction with technical team including contract construct, negotiation, implementation, on-going monitoring of performance against defined targets of performance, cost, delivery and exit strategy whilst adhering to procurement policies and procedures.
Ideal skill set required:
Experienced in tendering via Public Contract Scotland (PCS) portal and the Public Contract Regulations 2015Min 2-3 years’ in-depth experience in Supply Chain with specific focus on contract management An understanding of and demonstrable experience with project management principlesRelated degree/MCIPS/BA/MBA or equivalentExperienced in negotiating medium/high complexity non-standard agreementsCross functional project experience (Project, Finance, Engineering, Quality, SCM)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailSupply chain risk and opportunity management experienceContract management negotiation experience and performance analysis skill setCategory Management and collaborative working experienceAbility to build strong working relationships with peers and colleagues Experienced in chairing meetings, workshops and presentingDemonstrates effective decision making and prioritisationExperience of problem solving and dispute resolution at senior levelExperience or knowledge of ERP purchase order placement/ material receipt processesStrong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detailExcellent IT systems knowledge and experience Please apply without delay as there is a deadline with this role.
