Working for one of the biggest names in Technology we have an exciting opportunity to join their Cloud and Innovation Supply Chain Planning & Analytics team.
This is a fully remote based role so you can be based anywhere in the UK and this is a 6 month contract paying the equivalent salary of up to £62,000 per annum
We are seeking a Production Planning Analyst with a passion for data, analytics, process improvements, helping others, technology, and operations. You would join a team that works to deliver commercial equipment and evolve a production planning and inventory management system to ensure the right gear docks at the right site at the right cost, as planned. You’ll help to ensure we deliver as planned while identifying improvement opportunities that will take our capabilities to the next level.

Responsibilities:
Business Operations
Maintains and tracks issues and opportunities to OKR/KPI’s
Conduct production meetings with various stakeholders to understand and track changes to plans and execution and enable visibility into impacts to the business.
Creates and publishes production planning reports
Complete comprehensive analytics that drive security of supply
Manual data entry as needed to track inventory status reporting
Use a deep understanding of manufacturing best practices to work effectively with suppliers and be able to report deeply on inventory matters including WIP, material procurement, cycles, quality, testing, on-time delivery, setting and measuring KPIs, and overall inventory management concepts.
Participates and supports ad hoc projects
Skills and experience required:
5+ years or equivalent experience in a supply chain management
Programming experience / Intermediate in Excel
Be analytical and have a passion for data
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
Previous Data Centre exposure/experience
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities
