Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Working Hours: 07:30 to 16:00 Monday To Thursday, 07:30 to 12:50 Friday (38 hours per week)

About the Role:
Heatrod Elements are looking for a Quality Inspector to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing products as well as assessing production procedures. We strive to ensure that our products are made to a high standard and the quality team play an integral part in delivering this goal.
Main Responsibilities:
Internal audits
Product/equipment quality inspections
Goods inward inspections
Record and report daily process-based quality checks
Monitor and record scrap levels
Monitor/Report on customer returns
Raise and progress corrective actions with suppliers
Support the team with compiling SOP’s and work instructions
Drive continuous improvement
Be a point of contact for customers for quality issues/resolutions
Identify ways of continued quality improvements
About you:
Essential Criteria:
Experience in a previous quality inspector role within a manufacturing environment
Experience of working with ISO 9001/14001 requirements
Great IT skills, especially excel
Good communication skills
Great eye for detail and be results driven
Desirable Criteria:
A recognised quality control qualification (e.g. NVQ)
An engineering qualification or experience would be an advantage
