ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching are looking for a Religious Studies Teacher for a Secondary school in Barnet area. This will be an ongoing supply position starting ASAP for half a term. The school may look at extending the contract or offering a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is a forward thinking but traditional mainstream Secondary School with a supportive Religious Studies department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. The role will be The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. CONTRACT DETAILS Location – Mill Hill Barnet Position – Religious Studies Teacher Type of work – Religious Studies Teacher in a secondary school Contract or position start date – ASAP Contract or likely end date – Ongoing Contract type – temporary Full time/part time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £160 for qualified teachers Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings and meetings as requiredEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
