SAC Planning Consulting – £650 – 6 months – Milton Keynes

Our esteemed pharma client is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant for a 6-month contract position. As a SAC Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning models, with a focus on leveraging your expertise in Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting (PB&F). In addition, experience working with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and understand the organization’s PB&F needs.
• Design and implement SAP Analytics Cloud Planning models, utilizing your expertise in SAC Planning and BPC integration.
• Develop complex planning scenarios, input forms, and business rules within SAC Planning, ensuring seamless integration with BPC if required.
• Conduct data analysis and modelling to ensure data integrity and accuracy in planning models, with a strong focus on financial data.
• Provide guidance and support to business users on SAC Planning and BPC functionalities, including best practices for PB&F.
• Work closely with the technical team to integrate SAC Planning models with other systems and data sources, such as SAP ERP and SAP BPC.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of SAC Planning models to ensure optimal performance and data consistency.
• Document the design, configuration, and implementation details for future reference, including any integration points with BPC.
• Stay updated with the latest SAC Planning and BPC features and functionalities, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant or similar role, with specific experience in SAC Planning and BPC integration.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting (PB&F) processes, ideally gained from previous experience in FP&A and Business Partner roles.
• In-depth understanding of SAC Planning functionalities, including planning scenarios, input forms, business rules, and data integration.
• Experience designing and implementing SAC Planning models, considering the integration points with SAP BPC for a comprehensive planning solution.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and its integration capabilities with SAC Planning.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and insights for effective decision-making.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, are highly desirable.
