The Role of the Sales Manager:
The main focus of this role is to manage a team of 7 reps that will focus on selling a range of Endodontic products.
Working in close collaboration with the established sales team in the UK, promoting and presenting the Endodontic range of products.
Development of strategy, sales planning, objectives and solutions.
The role will involve visiting dental practices, corporate bodies and hospital/clinic visits.
Attending local & national dental events.
Lead, motivate, coach and develop the sales team to ensure that regional and national targets are achieved.
Train and develop direct reports by providing regular support, guidance and field accompaniment time to develop their skills.
Ensure sales team are planning and working appropriately in line with the sales model, CRM and process.
Ensure sales team are working to their agreed priorities and achieving standards of performance set.

The Ideal Person for the Sales Manager:
Must have people management.
Endodontics/Dental sales experience preferred but will also consider medical devices.
Experience in a customer facing sales role.
Experience of dental sales.
High level team building, motivational and collaboration skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales and business strategy.
High level of financial and business acumen: Budgeting, Forecasting & Negotiation, Consultative selling skills.
Ability to use technology and analysis tools effectively (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers.
Effective/Impactful communicating experience.
Confidence using IT applications.
Proven track record of success and contacts on patch would be ideal.
Strong closer.
Confident & polished presenter.
