SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer with experience of SAP Data Intelligence, SAP BODS, and SAP HANA, are sought to join a young and fast growing professional services consulting firm. This is an excellent opportunity for SAP Data specialists to join a senior team of specialists primarily coming from major SI/Big 4 backgrounds.

The SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, enterprise architects and application teams to develop data preparation and ingestion pipelines into enterprise data model and will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise data solutions.

The SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer will conduct activities such as Designing, developing, testing and maintaining ETL processes using SAP BODS and SAP HANA, working with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions.

The SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer will also do such things as Developing and maintain SAP BODS jobs and workflows and Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SAP BODS and maintain documentation ETL processes and data integration solutions.

The SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer depending on the level offered, could have leadership activities such as managing software development projects from inception to completion, including defining project goals, creating project schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. Also providing technical leadership to the software development team,

The SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer will also communicate with stakeholders and clients to ensure that project goals and expectations are understood and met.

Suitable candidates for the SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer role will come with at lease 4+ years of experience in SAP BODS & SQL as well as SQL and Proficiency in SAP HANA/MySQL/PLSQL/MSSQL with extensive hands-on experience.

It is beneficial for the SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer to have experience in Data transformations concepts like Star Schema, Snowflake or SAP DI or other similar ETL and data integration platforms such as IBM Datastage, Mulesoft, Informatica, SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.

Additional experience of interest for the SAP Data Manager/HANA BODS Engineer would be things like API’s (REST/XML/JSON), CI/CD techniques, DevOps/Git, coding experience in Python, SAP HRF, Calculation Views, Information Steward and also some experience of being able to manage Agile Scrum team is beneficial.

There is a hybrid working model with good WFH opportunities, however the SAP Data Manager/Engineer will be required to work in Central London 2-3 days most weeks, so ideally would live in a commutable distance to the City of London.
