SC/DV Human Factors Engineer

SC/DV Human Factors Engineer:

– 6 month initial contract
– Inside IR35
– Hybrid working in Christchurch, Dorset
– SC or DV clearance required to start

Key Activities:
* Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the programme design
* Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities
* Conduct analyses such as persona development, task analysis and usability assessment
* Assess prototypes/mock-ups of programme hardware and software solutions
* Produce reports and input to customer deliverables.

Skills required:
* A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Psychology
* Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body)
* At least five years’ experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or safety-critical industry
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects
