Prospero work closely with high achieving schools based in Portsmouth and one of our fantastic schools is currently seeking a creative and dedicated Administration assistant to join them. This is for a Full Time, on-going position, starting ASAP.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good behaviour and management.

Hours- 08:30 – 3:30
In this role you need:
The ‘go to’ for all things admin – Ensuring a high standard of administrative support is provided for all staff, management and students within our education settings.
Attention to detail – Accurately, updating, maintaining & creating staff/student records within the required time frames.
Maintaining a secure and welcoming environment – Representing the school in a professional manner, welcoming all visitors politely and efficiently and ensuring all visitor guidance is followed in order to keep our young people safe.
Communication skills – Providing clear and concise information to relevant staff, parents or students
Building relationships – Proactively maintaining respectful relationships while ensuring safe professional boundaries.
General support – Complete general school administration duties while maintaining student safety & duty of care
Experience, Training and Qualifications
Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
Previous experience working in a UK School
Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)
To be Eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
