More about your roleâ â â The Security Engineer’s role is to work closely with the wider IT engineering and operations teams to protect our data and the infrastructure surrounding it. This will include working on leading technology platforms to secure the technology layer of the Group in the following areas; identity, access control, applications, code, endpoints and ; Being a valuable member of the security operations function, the Security Engineer will be involved in incident response, forensics, threat hunting, risk and vulnerability management. We also strongly support and encourage our engineers towards healthy practices such as continuous improvements and ; Please note that this is an ‘agile’ role whereby you will be given the tools to effectively do your role from home; however, there will still be some requirement to travel to our South Rings, Preston office from time to time for collaborative ; For more information, please download our job profile available on our ; â â More about youâ â â To be successful in this role, above all, is to be passionate about cyber ; The ideal candidate will haveâ previous knowledge and experience working in the IT sector. Also, you must have a good understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity and industry-standard security frameworks ( OWASP ASVS). We hope you have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with an excellent attention to detail. Preferably you have experience with security tooling (commercial or open source) such as SAST, DAST and SCA.
