SEN Teacher

We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teachers to join varoius schools across South, South West and South East London and support students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, complex needs, and other learning difficulties.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with special educational needs in the classroom and during other school activities
• Planning and delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student
• Managing and supporting TA’s and LSA’s who support in your class
• Monitoring the progress of students and reporting to SLT on a regular basis
• Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the education and care of students with special educational needs

Requirements:

• QTS or QTLS
• Relevant experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, complex needs, and other learning difficulties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Understanding or experience of using PECS, Makaton and other alternative communications
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond to the needs of individual students
