The school supports children and young adults with a range of needs, including Autism, SLD, PMLD and associated behavioural challenges. Children are taught in modern classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of outdoor space to explore and learn. Older students have the opportunity to utilise vocational workshops, encouraging them to achieve independence later in life. As a teaching assistant, you’ll work closely with our teachers and other staff to support students with a range of needs. You’ll help to plan and deliver lessons, provide one-to-one support to students, and assist with the day-to-day running of the school. You’ll have the opportunity to work with students from a variety of age ranges, and to make a real difference in their lives. This is a term-time only position, 40 hours per week. We’re looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working with children and young people. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well as part of a team.
