Interim SEND Caseworker

Client – Local Authority in Southwest of England

Salary: £270 per day

Contract: 3-6-month agency contract

We are currently seeking several Interim SEND Caseworkers for our client, a local authority in the Southwest of England. Within this role you will play a crucial part in supporting children, young people, and their families in accessing the appropriate support and services they need.

The preference would be to work 1 day per week in the office however this is not an essential requirement.

Duties will include:

• Prepare, review, and make necessary amendments to EHCPs and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with professionals from various sectors, including educational settings, Health, Social Care, and outside agencies.
• Provide valuable advice and guidance to young people and parents, assisting them in exploring education, training, and employment options while supporting transition planning.
• Ensure appropriate provisions and arrangements are in place to meet the needs of children and young people.
• Attend annual review meetings to support the development and agreement of outcomes and provision, as required.
