We are currently seeking several Interim SEND Caseworkers for our client, a local authority in the Southwest of England. Within this role you will play a crucial part in supporting children, young people, and their families in accessing the appropriate support and services they need.
The preference would be to work 1 day per week in the office however this is not an essential requirement.
Duties will include:
Prepare, review, and make necessary amendments to EHCPs and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timelines.
Collaborate with professionals from various sectors, including educational settings, Health, Social Care, and outside agencies.
Provide valuable advice and guidance to young people and parents, assisting them in exploring education, training, and employment options while supporting transition planning.
Ensure appropriate provisions and arrangements are in place to meet the needs of children and young people.
Attend annual review meetings to support the development and agreement of outcomes and provision, as required.
