Chief Corporate Affairs Office
Inmarsat’s Chief Corporate Affairs Office (CAO) oversees several key areas – Company Secretarial, Enterprise Risk Management, Governance and Compliance, alongside marketing communications and managing the activities in India, China, Russian/the Stans and Turkey.
Job Description
Primary role purpose:
The Senior Corporate Compliance Manager will lead, influence and work with a wide range of internal customers to ensure compliance and best practice in activities such as: The UK Bribery Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),the Anti-Facilitation of Tax Evasion (AFTE) and the economic and financial sanctions laid down by OFAC and the OFSI. The Corporate Compliance Manager will be recognised as the company specialist with broad knowledge of compliance areas and will demonstrate advanced disciplinary expertise in ABC, Sanctions and GDPR There will be an expectation that the Corporate Compliance manager has knowledge of high risk jurisdictions, risk assessment and mitigation. The candidate will be proficient at resolving complex issues that may impact multiple areas globally and will have ownership of both internal and external relationships. The Compliance Manager will report directly into the Global Compliance Director.
