Leading Financial Services organisation require a Senior Business Intelligence & Insight Developer to help transform the company into a truly insight and data driven organisation. You will be joining at a pivotal time during the amalgamation of three businesses using the power of the combined data to support continued growth strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the insight and data team and the wider business in understanding the information they have and driving the right measures that will lead to improved business performance.
• Understanding the key challenges faced by the operational team’s wider business and support them in solving them to drive greater business value.
• Using statistical analysis to gain better actionable insight and communicating this to the relevant stakeholder in a compelling manner.
• Feed insights, analysis and recommendations into operational discussions and post implementation reviews.
• Supporting the delivery of a business wide operational change programme using data to improve business performance and identify new opportunities.
• Develop insights into recommendations for strategic initiatives to provide understanding of performance versus targets and controls – A/B testing & multivariant testing.
• Maintain a high level of awareness of key operational metrics required and how these are changing.
• Leverage development skills in SQL or Python and Power BI to ingest data in a more structured way to enhance quality of reporting and Insight
• Interrogate our case database to analyse debtor behaviour and glean actionable insights to feed into reporting or one-off projects.
• Document and present analytics to senior audiences in a way which can be understood by those who are non-technical.
• Develop insights and recommendations rather than just data facts.
• Support in the structural development of data and reporting helping to guide how these can aid the business in faster and better design making.

Key Skills & Experience:

• High numeric capability evidenced degree or equivalent qualification.
• Essential: SQL or Python, Advanced Excel
• Desirable: PowerBI, Tableau, Databricks, Alteryx
• Experience in data science and/or data wrangling within Microsoft Azure an advantage
• Experience in using statistical and model-based approaches in a business context an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple partners, prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Ability to clearly communicate actionable insights and complex findings to key business partners.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a Team.
