Cancer Research UK
SENIOR FINANCE ANALYST
At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.
We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join Cancer Research UK to own and deliver timely, high quality and insightful reporting and financial planning for your specified business areas.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with significant experience in complex financial planning, modelling and reporting (using large data sets). You will be able to understand what is needed to inform decision making and identify and clearly communicate the impact on the future.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant who is interested in gaining experience in the charity sector, or a great sideways opportunity for someone looking to move their financial career into more of a reporting/analyst role. Cancer Research UK is a large, complex organisation, with nearly 600 shops, an events team delivering 570 events a year, a large operational organisation of around 4,000 people, and a research organisation with five laboratories, so there are lots of opportunities to progress and gain experience within various areas of finance, working across a variety of business areas.
