Senior Financial Analyst / Business Partner – Hybrid Working

Sheridan Maine are working with a key client to recruit a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation based in the Southampton area. This role would suit a commercial & analytically focused accounting professional and will work as part of the Finance Business Partnering team with oversight for planning, forecasting and performance analysis for a key business area.The company operate a hybrid working policy with a flexible 2 days a week onsite and the rest worked from home.Key responsibilities will include:

• Working as an embedded finance partner within a key business function to supply reliable, timely and accurate analysis of the financial data to include providing an understanding of performance drivers.
• Providing insight to proactively identify opportunities for improvements in business performance.
• Support the planning and forecasting process.
• Work collaboratively with other senior analysts/business partners to support ad hoc change projects

The successful candidate is required to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with previous experience of working in an analytically focused role. Prior business partnering exposure would be an advantage, however a commercially focused individual with the enthusiasm and analytical curiosity to want to add value to the business would definitely be considered. Strong communication and relationship building skills are key.
