Location: Stamford/Hybrid

Salary: £31,509 – £37,419 per annum

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12-24 months)

The Role

This role will support the team of busy Marketing Managers in the delivery of the company’s marketing and communications activities and events for their global B2C and B2B audiences.

This Senior Marketing Executive role will support the delivery of the company’s global marketing plans and campaigns to meet performance targets and strategic objectives – increase awareness, lead generation, acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Working in conjunction with internal teams and external partners, the role will be responsible for campaign planning, co-ordination, execution, analysis, and reporting across global markets to meet our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, implementation, scheduling, execution analysis and reporting of targeted omni-channel global marketing campaigns.
• In conjunction with the Marketing Managers, develop and deliver of creative assets and messaging for campaigns – on brand, on time and on budget. This includes the planning and writing/editing of marketing copy/messages and content creation for a variety of formats including email, website, social, video, audio, imagery, illustration, infographics etc.
• Work with the Social Media Specialist and digital agency to coordinate and schedule social media posts through organic company channels.
• Work with the Social Media Specialist, digital agency, and SEO Specialist to agree budget and targeting of paid search and paid social campaigns to achieve performance targets.
• Engage in online communities to encourage participation in conversations and raise awareness of the company’s membership, independent learning options and other learning products.
• Support the Marketing Managers with project management and reporting, meeting management and attend meetings with external partners, purchase order management, budget forecasting and reporting on marketing expenditure against budget.
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting of marketing insight – reporting on campaign and user journeys, reviewing as appropriate to ensure a strong campaign ROI, that engages audiences and supports CTAs, brand values and good customer experience.
• Brief and manage external marketing and creative agencies and freelancers, as necessary, for delivery to quality, schedule, and budget.
• Support the Head of Marketing & Brand with the delivery and implementation of the new and refreshed company brand.
• Oversee adherence to the Brand Guidelines, with internal external partners, globally.
• Provide training globally on the company’s Brand Guidelines and Tone of Voice.
• Support the management and scheduling of internal job requests on the company’s Trello workflow system.
• Collaborate with, and engage, wider business functions and regions to deliver on marketing goals and strategies, as appropriate.
• Represent the Marketing & Communications Directorate within the business on key internal working groups and task forces, as required.
• Act as a company brand and marketing ambassador both internally and externally.

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant degree of equivalent experience, CIM qualified – or working towards is desirable
• Proven experience of developing and delivering marketing campaign collateral – creative and messaging – for a variety of channels
• Experience of coordinating integrated global marketing campaigns
• Experience working with creative and digital agencies for delivery of marketing campaigns, creative outputs
• Strong organisational skills
• Flexible and adaptable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects and self-motivated to work under minimal supervision
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills in a marketing capacity for different global audiences
