Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – New MEP Division – To £55K
Established over 20 years ago, this medium sized, building surveying, project management and construction consultancy has almost doubled in size over the past two years.
They have just established a new MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health) division and are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing this new division.
Working in a construction and property firm that has every service inhouse, means that you’ll have more time (and more of a fee) to do good quality project work; as you won’t be wasting time doing time-consuming briefs or handovers to external specialists.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll work directly with the MEP Director; and also have direct access to the founding Partners who set up the firm 20 years ago.
You’ll lead HVAC design, lead projects and carry out specialist surveys on existing buildings. As this is a new MEP division, the majority of their projects are currently at feasibility stage; so you’ll benefit from seeing projects through their full lifecycle. Here, you’ll get involved on medium sized projects which will ensure you will work on interesting, challenging and diverse projects across central London.
This property and construction consultancy offers a flexible working culture and provide full autonomy to their employees. They actively encourage and support everyone with ongoing CPD so they can obtain professional registration and become a Chartered Engineer. This has resulted in an excellent level of staff retention and a social and enjoyable working environment for everyone.
Working in a construction and property firm means that, in addition to HVAC Design you’ll continue to develop new skills in client advisory services such Pre-Acquisition Surveys, TDD (Technical Due Diligence), Condition Surveys, PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and Dilapidation Surveys, which take place across the UK.
