Our leading UK based software services provider to public sector clients, is recruiting for a Senior level Oracle Developer to join a thriving software development team in Bracknell.
The position of Software Developer will be working on Oracle Web based applications supplied to both local authorities in the UK and to central government clients.

This role will be working within one of the development teams where you will work as part of an Agile Scrum team on new development projects as well as helping maintain and enhance existing client software applications.
Writing both functional code and associated unit tests, this is a crucial development role that will allow you the ability to learn and enhance your technical skills and interpret client requirements along with building your business domain knowledge.
Solutions are delivered as software or as hosted SAAS solutions. Primary techs are Oracle and PL/SQL but they also use Ruby-on-Rails and Java for some applications.
On a daily basis you will be developing technical solutions across technologies including:
Oracle Databases
PL/SQL Programming
Oracle APEX
Oracle XML DB
SOAP and REST Web Services
XML, JSON, Java, SOAP, REST, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Ruby-on-Rails
